Verdure Lotus Grandeur Cruise
Verdure Lotus Luxury (ship: Verdure Lotus Grandeur) is the larger, upmarket boat in the Verdure Lotus fleet - the luxury sister to the classic verdure-lotus-cruise. It's an overnight junk with a steel exterior and warm wooden interior, 22 spacious cabins across 3 decks that taper on the upper floors. Deck 1 holds 8 Grandeur Deluxe (32m²) and 2 Grandeur Royal (55m²); deck 2 holds 8 Grandeur Executive (32m²), a Grandeur Triple Suite and a Grandeur Family Suite (up to 75m²); the sundeck adds sunbathing chairs and a bar. It runs the Halong core - Luon Cave, Titop Island and Sung Sot Cave.
Scored by our Halong cruise team, who spend their season on these waters. We rate each boat the way a returning guest would - cabins, dining, crew, itinerary and value - not the way a listing does.
The all-balcony, all-bathtub layout is the real draw here, and even the 32m2 entry Deluxe feels generous for what you pay. What it isn't is a full luxury yacht: there is no spa, pool or elevator, just stairs across three decks, and at 22 cabins the boat runs busier than the small boutique junks. The core Halong route through Sung Sot and Titop is genuinely scenic but also the most crowded water in the bay.
