Victory Star Cruise, operated by the Bai Tho Junks Group, is a metal-framed 4-star junk boat built in 2009 and renovated in 2022, sailing Halong Bay. Four decks and 32 cabins (up to 64 guests) blend traditional Vietnamese style with modern comfort - every cabin has a private balcony, and the top deck is an open sundeck with an outdoor bar. The 2-day route runs the iconic core (Sung Sot Cave, Titop Island, Luon Cave); the 3-day itinerary adds a quieter day in Lan Ha Bay.

Victory Star's real draw is democratic: every one of its 32 cabins has a private balcony, so you still get a view from the entry-level 22m2 Deluxe, and the 2022 refit keeps the metal-hulled boat feeling current rather than dated. Step up to The Suite for a bathtub or the single 34m2 President Suite for a jacuzzi. Two honest caveats: at up to 64 guests across four stair-only decks (no lift) this is a larger, busier boat than the intimate junks, and the core 2-day route sticks to Halong's most-trafficked sights, so book the 3-day if you want the quieter Lan Ha day.

Hanoi - Halong Bay - Sung Sot Cave - Titop Island
- Shuttle pickup in the Old Quarter ~08:00-08:30 (add-on), arrive Halong International Cruise Port ~11:30-12:15, tender to Victory Star, check-in + welcome drink + briefing, lunch cruising into the bay
- Afternoon: Sung Sot (Surprise) Cave (500m paved passage), then Titop Island for a swim and the peak hike; back onboard for the sunset cocktail party with desserts, or a cooking class (spring rolls)
- Evening: seafood dinner in the dining room, then free time - squid fishing, karaoke or board games
Halong Bay - Luon Cave - Hanoi
- Sunrise, tai chi on the sundeck, breakfast with coffee/tea/pastries
- Luon Cave by bamboo rowing boat or kayak
- ~09:15 return to the boat, check out; buffet brunch cruising to port, disembark ~10:45-11:00
