Cozy Bay Cruise
Cozy Bay Grand Cruise is a budget wooden junk sailing Halong Bay, with 17 sea-view cabins across three decks finished in classical wooden furniture (deck-2 cabins have balconies). Onboard there's a spa room, a bar, a 35-seat restaurant on the second floor and a sundeck for sunrises and sunsets. It runs a single 2-day route and rates well for its guide, food and sundeck (98% positive on Tripadvisor), though reviewers note the older transfer bus and less-modern facilities.
Scored by our Halong cruise team, who spend their season on these waters. We rate each boat the way a returning guest would - cabins, dining, crew, itinerary and value - not the way a listing does.
Cozy Bay is an honest budget junk that wins on its guide, its food and its sunset sundeck rather than on polish. Cabins are small (15m2, up to 18m2 for the honeymoon terrace) and the transfer bus and fittings show their age, so come for value, not luxury, and note there is no elevator. It runs a single night on Halong's busiest classic route (Titop Island, Luon Cave, Sung Sot Cave), so expect crowds at the highlights and no longer itinerary option. At around $124 per guest with kayaking, cooking class and night squid fishing included, it is a lot of trip for the money.

Cozy Bay is an honest budget wooden junk (98% positive on Tripadvisor) known for its guide, food and sundeck. Reviewers do flag the older transfer bus and less-modern facilities, so book it for the value and the itinerary, not for 5-star polish - it's priced from about $124pp
No - Cozy Bay only runs the 2D1N program (Titop Island and Luon Cave, then Sung Sot Cave the next morning). If you want two nights or a Lan Ha extension, look at Victory or another boat with a 3D2N route
