Aimee Cruise
Aimee is a near-80m, 5-star yacht sailing Halong Bay, with 29 spacious suites across 4 modern decks. Deck 1 has the reception, an elevator running decks 1-3, and 12 Grace Ocean Suites (seaview, 30-32m²) - all cabins have bathtubs. Deck 2 holds 12 Eden Balcony Suites (30-32m²), 2 Essence Terrace Suites (65m²) at the rear and the Aimee Suite (60m²) at the bow. Deck 3 gathers the Elysian Restaurant, Amethyst Lounge, Serene Spa and the Sundara jacuzzi pool at the bow; the sundeck adds the Amber Sky Bar, a gym and a karaoke room. It runs the classic route - Luon Cave, Titop Island and Sung Sot Cave.
Scored by our Halong cruise team, who spend their season on these waters. We rate each boat the way a returning guest would - cabins, dining, crew, itinerary and value - not the way a listing does.
Aimee earns its five-star badge honestly: a near-80m yacht where every cabin has a bathtub, the top suites open onto private terraces with outdoor jacuzzis, and a genuinely rare onboard elevator makes it easy for families and less-mobile guests to move between decks. The trade-off is route and scale - it sails the classic, busiest Ha Long channel past Titop and Sung Sot rather than the quieter waters, and with 29 suites and up to 76-89 guests aboard it feels more polished floating resort than intimate hideaway. At the bottom the 30m2 Grace Ocean suites are comfortable but modest for the tier, so pay up to the terrace suites if you want the real wow.
