Venus punches above its price: a 5-star, all-suite ship where every cabin - even the 40m2 entry Senior Suite - comes with a private balcony and a jacuzzi, and it sails the quieter Lan Ha Bay rather than the crowded main Halong channel. Kayaking, swimming and night squid fishing are built into the fare, and there is a real outdoor pool on the upper deck plus a Sky Bar and spa. Two honest caveats: at up to 58 guests it reads as a comfortable mid-size hotel-boat rather than an intimate yacht, and with only a 3-guest Family cabin (and stairs, no lift across four decks) a family of four needs two rooms. - Afternoon: kayak or swim at Tra Bau; back onboard for the Sunset Party at the Venus Sky Bar, Happy Hour + a Vietnamese cooking class
