Paradise Elegance
A polished 5-star boat from Paradise, one of the longest-running luxury operators on Halong Bay (sailing since 2008). Elegance carries around 62 guests across four decks and leans refined rather than rustic: a piano lounge with live music, a panoramic jacuzzi, Le Parfum spa and a fine-dining restaurant. Cabins are a uniform 25m² with balconies, stepping up to 35m² terrace suites.
Scored by our Halong cruise team, who spend their season on these waters. We rate each boat the way a returning guest would - cabins, dining, crew, itinerary and value - not the way a listing does.
Paradise Elegance delivers genuine five-star polish: every cabin runs a uniform 25m2 with its own balcony, the two stern and bow suites open to 35m2 terraces, and the piano lounge, Le Parfum spa and panoramic jacuzzi give the evenings real occasion. Two honest caveats: at around 62 guests across 31 cabins it sails larger and less intimate than a boutique boat, and it works the busy main Ha Long channel (Titop, Sung Sot) rather than the quieter Lan Ha or Bai Tu Long. Kayaking is a paid add-on rather than bundled, so budget for it if paddling matters to you.

On Paradise Elegance kayaking is a paid add-on rather than included, so factor that in if it matters to you. The trade-off is a genuinely 5-star boat - piano lounge with live music, panoramic jacuzzi and a fine-dining menu
It's at the higher end - a 31-cabin, 4-deck boat with a spa, jacuzzi and live music, run by Paradise, one of the longest-running 5-star operators on the bay. If you want polished and refined over rustic, it's a strong pick
