Orient Legacy delivers on the romantic 1930s Indochine brief: 43 cabins over three decks, all fitted with bathtubs and a generous 35m2 floor at entry level, climbing to a 120m2 Saigon Legacy suite with private terrace, outdoor jacuzzi and a personal butler. The quieter Lan Ha Bay routing, with kayaking at Dark & Bright Cave and the Cat Ba biosphere excursion to Trung Trang Cave, gives it a real sense of place away from the busier Halong core. Two honest caveats: at 43 cabins this is a sizeable ship rather than an intimate junk, and there is no lift, so three decks means stairs.
