Launched in 2020, La Casta Cruise sails the lesser-known Lan Ha Bay in an Indochina-inspired design. Four decks and 22 spacious cabins - each with an ocean view and private balcony - plus an outdoor jacuzzi (deck 3), a two-bed spa room, a sky bar and a restaurant. It runs the Ba Trai Dao + Tra Bau route (adding Viet Hai Village on the 3-day trip).

La Casta's real edge is that all 22 cabins are ocean-view rooms with a private balcony and a bathtub, which is rare at this price on a 2020 boat, and it sails the calmer Lan Ha Bay rather than the busy Halong core. The 50m2 VIP Honeymoon Suite with its own outdoor jacuzzi is a genuine draw for couples, and kayaking plus the bamboo boat are already in the fare. Two honest caveats: it is a four-deck boat with stairs and no lift, and the spa is a paid extra, so it suits able-bodied travellers over anyone needing step-free access. The rates here are also indicative rather than operator-confirmed, so confirm before you count on them.
