It sails the quieter Lan Ha route - Tra Bau area and the Dark & Bright Caves.

This is a true all-suite ship: even the entry Bai Tu Long Suite runs a generous 45m2 with floor-to-ceiling glass, a private balcony and a wooden bathtub, while the 135m2 Grand Suite with its jacuzzi and private terrace is one of the largest rooms on the bay. The quiet Lan Ha route to Tra Bau and the Dark and Bright Caves keeps you clear of the main Halong crowds, and at roughly $165 per guest it undercuts most boats of this class. Just know it climbs four decks on stairs with no lift, and at 27 suites it trades a little intimacy for scale.

La Regina Grand sails Lan Ha Bay - the quieter side next to Halong - anchoring at the unspoiled Tra Bau area for kayaking and swimming, plus a bamboo-boat ride through the Dark & Bright Caves. The 3D2N adds Viet Hai Village (cycling on Cat Ba) and a swim at Ba Trai Dao Beach.
The Lan Ha Trio Suite sleeps 3, the two-storey Lan Ha Duplex Suite (90m²) sleeps 4, and the Bai Tu Long Connecting Suites join two rooms together; there's also a Kid Room on the sundeck. Children under 5 sharing with parents are free (one per cabin).
