Elite of the Seas Cruise
Elite of the Seas is a 6-star luxury yacht from the A-Class Group, sailing the quiet Lan Ha Bay. It carries 35 opulent suites across 6 decks (4 main decks, a sundeck and a basement) - every suite has a private balcony and an ocean-view bathtub. Onboard: an infinity pool, mini-golf, a spa & sauna, a fitness room and a basement wine & cigar cellar.
Scored by our Halong cruise team, who spend their season on these waters. We rate each boat the way a returning guest would - cabins, dining, crew, itinerary and value - not the way a listing does.
A-Class's 6-star flagship makes a strong case: 35 suites and not a single standard cabin, every one with a private balcony and an ocean-view bathtub, wrapped around an infinity pool, spa and a basement wine and cigar cellar. The calm Lan Ha route (Ao Ech kayaking, the Dark and Bright Cave) keeps you off the crowded core-Halong circuit. Two things to weigh: at roughly 70 guests it reads more as a grand yacht than an intimate small boat, and the source notes no elevator across its six decks, so higher suites mean stairs. Rates are indicative rather than confirmed, so treat the from-$680 a cabin as a starting point.
