Serenity Grandeur Cruise
Serenity Grandeur is Serenity Cruises' brand-new steel flagship (launched 2025) - one of the largest, most modern 5-star day boats on Lan Ha Bay / Cat Ba, designed in an elegant white "pearl" European style. The full-day tour explores Cai Beo fishing village, Viet Hai village and the emerald waters of Lan Ha, with a premium buffet lunch and a big water-activity spread: kayaking, swimming, a deck pool, an inflatable air pool floating in the bay, and a long water slide.
Do-not-conflate: this is NOT
serenity-day-cruise(the older 48-guest wooden 2019 boat). Serenity Grandeur is a separate ~200-guest steel flagship, day-only (no cabins). A "Serenity Grandeur 2D1N" package actually overnights guests on a different boat (Doria Cruise). Specs (~200 guests, 3 decks, steel hull, launched May 2025) are compiled from research and pending confirmation by the operator.

Reach Cat Ba Pearl Island
Scenic road between the sea and the green mountains of Cat Ba National Park.
Welcome aboard
Welcome drink and briefing; the captain sails slowly past the 7,000-year-old Cai Beo fishing village into the core of the bay.
Lunch
Buffet lunch (served for groups of 40) at the Serenity Grandeur restaurant; cruise through the East Gate past Hon Rua (Turtle) Island.
Viet Hai Village
Disembark at Viet Hai Port; electric car / bicycle to the ancient village - fish-foot massage, traditional houses, local life.
Kayaking & swimming
Captain and guide pick the best spot for swimming, jumping and sliding off the top deck, and kayaking.
Return toward Beo Pier
Relax on the top deck with a drink.
Sunset party

- Day boat, weather-dependent - the captain and guide pick the stops according to conditions on the day. Jumping and diving off the boat are allowed in Lan Ha Bay (not in Halong or Bai Tu Long). A life jacket is recommended for swimming, kayaking and the water slide.

No - this is a different, much larger boat. Serenity Grandeur is a brand-new steel flagship for around 200 guests, launched in 2025, with a rooftop bar, jacuzzi, a deck pool and a water slide. The older Serenity Day Cruise is a 48-guest wooden boat. They share the Serenity brand but they're separate vessels.
The price depends on your pick-up and drop-off route - it starts around $52 for a Cat Ba Town round-trip and rises for Hai Phong, Hanoi or Ninh Binh transfers because those add more road time. I'll confirm the exact current rate for your route with the operator before booking.
Serenity Grandeur is a day-only boat - no cabins. If you see a 'Serenity Grandeur 2D1N' package, the overnight actually happens on a separate boat. For a genuine overnight I can suggest a proper cabin cruise instead.
