Cycad Grand is a new 5-star ship set to launch in October 2026, introducing a more exclusive standard of luxury cruising through the untouched Bai Tu Long Bay. It features 32 spacious luxury suites - each with a private balcony (36m²+) - in a refined modern-Indochine style, with a swimming pool, gym and spa, fine-dining meals, a mini folk show and Happy Hour canapés on the sundeck.

Cycad Grand arrives in October 2026 as an all-suite, all-balcony newcomer to the calm Bai Tu Long Bay, and on paper the rooms are the real draw: every one of the 32 suites runs 36m2 or more, and the top Premium Executive and Grand tiers add a sea-view bathtub and a private terrace. A swimming pool, gym and spa back up a genuine five-star spec, with kayaking and a folk show included. Two honest caveats: it is still pre-launch, so rates are quoted on request and there is nothing yet to judge value against, and the ship is stairs-only with a mountaintop cave hike on Day 2. Everything here is indicative and stays provisional until the operator confirms.

Hanoi - Bai Tu Long Bay - Vung Vieng Village - Cong Do
- Shuttle pickup in Hanoi ~07:30-08:30 (add-on), arrive Sunworld International Harbour ~12:00, tender to the ship (5-10 min), welcome drink + briefing + cabin check-in
- Set lunch cruising into Bai Tu Long; afternoon Vung Vieng fishing village by kayak or a locally-rowed bamboo boat
- Back onboard for Happy Hour + a canapé party on the sundeck
- Evening: fine-dining set dinner, then free time on the sundeck or squid fishing (board games available)
Thien Canh Son Cave - Halong International Cruise Port - Hanoi
- Morning Tai Chi (cancelled if it rains), light buffet breakfast
- Thien Canh Son Cave - a mountaintop cave hike (bring sports shoes)

- Bai Tu Long weather is variable; kayak, swim and the mountaintop cave hike are weather-dependent (Tai Chi is cancelled if it rains). Winter (Dec-Feb) is cool and misty.
